Hello from Chicago!

Became an Infiniti customer a few weeks ago when I bought a new G25x in Slate Blue/Stone. I was really impressed with the quality, looks/styling and handling of the G sedan. This car is a beauty. Traded in a Mazda Tribute - before the Tribute, I drove a Buick Century and before that a Ford Taurus - so this is a heckuva nice improvement.

Welcome!

Where did you buy your G25 from?

I went to 3 separate dealers in the Chicago area before I got my G37. I'm curious about your dealer experience.

Thumbs up

Welcome to our forum, but may I offer a word of caution. Owning a Lexus IS250 (my wife’s), that suits our needs quite well; we are often looked down a bit from IS350 owners over on that forum. I trust that will not be the case here, but there may be a small minority who may question your choice. Don’t let them bother you, especially when considering IS250’s outsell the IS350 by quite a bit, and the same may turn out to be the case for G25’s versus G37’s.

Motor Werks. Feel like I was treated well and got a fair deal.

Oh I won't take it personally - the car fits my needs and is a major upgrade over what I have been driving - seems tailor made to what I was looking for. I recognize it may not fit someone else's needs. This car seems designed to compete directly against the IS250. They way it handles, performs and looks make it a fun car to drive.

You are correct in the fact that the G25 is a direct competitor with the IS250 as well as the BMW 328. The G25 is a great car imho, I have taken many on test drives and from those that have driven it they are very impressed. There are a couple features that Infiniti could improve and they should make the premium package standard on the car, there is just something to be said to have the memory seats, mirrors and column. Although, it is not it is a great car that meets most everyone's needs.
