Hello ladies and gents,

The old man just picked up a G37 coupe - I'm assuming it is the base model, he got it used as he just wants it to drive from work and back...but with a bit of sport/luxury on the side.

I'll be posting pics up soon once we get it, in the shop for a detail and new front tires!

 

Welcome to the forum. Where in Houston are you taking it for detailing? I know this guy who's great at it.

Well it's a matter of opinion and also depends on what type of work you'd like done. I do most of my own work.

From my previous lurking, I seem to remember you mentioning you were on the Southeast side, is that right?

Yeah that's a fair haul away from me. I'm in the Richmond/Sugar Land area.

It's not a huge priority for me at the moment but eventually I'd like to have someone remove a few paint imperfections on the car. Looks almost like where some tree sap was removed on the hood. I might look you up for that.

 

Sorry for being MIA! I forgot to mention that the dealer will be doing the detail work, I got it from Texas Direct Auto, great price. I just hope there aren't any drawbacks.

I immediately noticed I should have opted for an 09, but the price I paid, there were no 09s, plus I was using an Aircheck Voucher.

Either way, picking it up tomorrow - anything I should be aware about? My dad will be primarily driving it, but just wanted to make sure before I pick it up.

 

Did you get the blue slate one they had? Or a different one?
