New and looking for advise.

Hello All,

I recently purchased my wife a new 2009 Infiniti G37 sport 6MT loaded. Now she drives it like a responsible person but when I get in it I am 18 again! So, I have been all around the internet looking at upgrades and dont really know where to start. I was hoping that you guys could give me a little advise.

I was on the MTM Motorsports page and fall in love with the twin turbo package but don't have the funds for it right now but i will be doing it in the future. So what can I do now that wont be a waste of money when I do get the turbo package? Also are there any clubs in the south Texas San Antonio area that you know of.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!! The best place to start is here: MODDING 411 - MyG37

Just look around and you can find multitudes of threads about different things and you can see what you like. I would reccomend:

-drop (Eibach PK or coilovers)
-intake (Stillen Gen3 or Injen)
-enhaust (pick whatever you like haha)
-LEAVE THE RIMS STOCK!!!!

but take a look at the modding section and see what spikes your interest.

Also -- I will be TDY to San Antonio (Lackland Air Force Base) from January-end of March, so there will be at least 1 other G in San Antonio

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Stillen Gen3's. I actually found a place selling them for 489 which was the cheapest I have seen on the net.

Intake and exhaust would be different for an NA car vs. turbo'd. I'd say upgrade suspension and brakes and do the exhaust when you get the turbo.

Best advice I could give is search and read for a month before spending more than $100. Make a list, and think/read some more. There are a lot of options.
