Help G37S Coupe has water leak - driver side coming from upper dash

Has someone experienced this type of leak. Is it coming from a replaced windshield or some other location. Please advise.

When it comes to leaking cabin, a poorly replaced windshield is always a possibility. Others I've heard of are a torn/missing/leaking grommet in the firewall area, a clogged/leaking AC condensation drain. The strangest I can recall were a flooded battery compartment and a leaking moonroof drain. Happy hunting.

I have, I would check under the hood behind the battery. If the grommet is loose water will leak directly onto the BCM. Have you had any aftermarket work done?

the firewall is the place to look. Where the air goes in on the plastic. That is where water likes to concentrate it self. I had it happen on the passenger side before. Just put some sealant around the grommet and I was all fixed.

ok brought back to citywide glass and infiniti dealer. discovered problem was the windshield driver corner caulk was off. it was replaced and my leak seems to be fixed. furthermore, infiniti reset my computer due to water coming in contact w/sensor. GtG G37S ready to roll

I just had the dealer replace the gasket along the roof above the windshield. My car is a convertible but the Tech indicated that he has seen this in both coupe and convertible. It seems to have corrected the leak.

If you had water in contact with the BCM, to the point it needed a reset, then it's possible you will have corrosion on those electrical items down the road. Not guaranteed but a consideration. Be sure to make note of what was done and keep that on file.
