Not Really a Noob but the purchase is in Progress
Went to the dealer yesterday and everything is in motion, my aunt and uncle said its time to start since im purchasing in December/January. The man had no used autos with navigation but he said he's looking for me. i found a few deals at some other dealerships but i didnt want to bring up the other dealerships until i start negotiating prices. I really had to correct this man on certain things, he was surprised that i knew so much about the car and that i knew exactly what i wanted.
Cars for Sale: 2008 Infiniti G37 in Duluth, GA 30096: Coupe Details - 267044833 - AutoTrader.com
and this is at another dealership that we are gonna stop by sometime this week. I didn't want to go to a used car dealership because usually those were in accidents or something of that sort occurred and thats why they arent in the infiniti dealership. Please leave feedback or tips. I am from NY and my parents are still there so if there are any low mileage, blue slate or ivory pearl Sport coupes anywhere just let me know. I am not trying to spend more than $35k, but i need NAV and really want the sports package. This is the video that my cousin recorded while we were in the dealership. WARNING: i was really excited

I don't mean no disrepect but are you even old enough to legally drive
As far as getting a good deal, you've got the right idea in figuring out what others are offering. Even though I bought mine brand new, here are a few tips that may also work for you:
-Determine the true value of the car (Check out trade in value)
-Go prepared to spend the whole day there and willing to walk away if you feel you're not getting the best deal
-Don't rush to tell them how much you are willing to spend or put down. Let them name the price. First person to name the price, loses bargaining power.
-Last Saturday of the month is always a good time to buy
Saturdays are always busy, and if you spend a good amount of time with asking questions and test driving and the whole nine yard, you're sale guy will not let you go without making a deal because of the time invested in you could've been spent selling to a couple other and they don't want a total loss.

(No offense taken)I have a permit. i get my license in December when i turn 16. I definitely didn't name any prices to the salesman. Believe it or not, im doing this on my own. thats why i have a certain budget plan set up. I have to use my money that i use from working in the family business and my clothing line. That brings my next question, does anyone know about registering in the businesses name because i am too young to put a car in my name. I can easily put it in someone else but i like to do things on my own, cant really trust people.
