Need advice with intakes
I have had both the Stillen Gen 3 intakes and now currently have the Injen CAI installed. I can say i could feel a power difference with both. The Stillen was a bit louder. The Injen CAI is a better quality intake for sure. The fitting was better with the Injen as well as the quality of the welds, much cleaner. I also like the look of the Injens with their badge on the intake tube.
One thing to not with Cold Air intakes is that it's a b1tch to clean/change the filters. After installing my Ingen CAI it looks like the only way I am going to be able to pull the filters is to take the front bumper
.
There has been proven gains from independent dyno runs on both the stillen and Injen CAIs. The Injen had better gains over the full power band though.
I still have a set of used Stillen Gen 3 intakes with a small dent in one of the down tubes thats not visable when installed, PM is interested. I will put up a thead to sell when I clean them up and take pics.
