Hi from San Diego. Been looking for a new car for about 3 months and just got a 2008 Blue Slate/Graphite G37S 5AT with Premium/Navigation. My 1992 SVX's (R.I.P.) transmission took a major dump on me the day after I checked to see how I fit in a G37 (out of spite probably).

If the car wasn't my daily driver in traffic, I might've gone the 6MT. I test drove both around the route I go home/work with the dealer (about 1 to 2 hours of test driving) and decided on the auto.

Great forum here. Looking forward to seeing what can be done to my car based on the great mods that you guys have already done.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good detail place in SD as well as someplace here to get the stock wheels powder coated or done in black chrome. Was thinking about going black chrome or gunmetal powdercoat. (or even straight chrome--anybody deal with wheelconcepts.com?)

I thought I saw someone near SD mention they knew a powdercoat place here but when I did a search, couldn't find it again.
