Speaking of NGC stickers. I requested another set awhile back. Wuz up. Somebody hook a brotha up.

I'm actually going for my first oil change in the new G at IoC in a couple weeks. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for little things like those reported.

I thought it was some dirt or something (it was white but not the color of my car) so I tried rubbing it off and it didn't come off. Then I figured it was TOUCH UP PAINT! I never used touch up paint on my car. So IOC has tried to cover up their mistakes without telling me what happened!

This wasn't the first time. I had scehduled an oil change by them earlier this year and when I was washing my car I realized there was blue paint on the bottom of my front bumper. I knew I didn't run over anything and the lifts at IOC are blue...and NO ONE AT IOC confessed to doing anything. So I brought it back and at the time Ryan was working there and had someone take care of it.

I think its the principle that IOC is not confessing up to their mistakes. It may be something small...and everyone makes mistakes but they didn't even mention anything to me.

*sigh* What should I do? John thinks I should tell them to repaint my door. I'm going to start taking my car elsewhere for an oil change...to people I trust.

Hmm.. I was just about to call these guys up to do my oil change.... I don't have an NGC sticker, but they do oil changes for $0.99 even without the sticker. I usually do it on my own, but since they can do it for even cheaper than I can, I was going to give them a try, but I would like to see the outcome of this fiasco with IOC. My past experience with them has been good so far. Perhaps the issue may lie with one of the techs who is not following proper procedure and taking shortcuts, not a systemic issue with the whole service team. Does IOC even have a login to this forum and do they keep up with the NGC forum? Perhaps they can chime in here and explain the situation.

They do have someone who checks the forum periodically. But they rarely post or reply to anything.

I know what U mean, I'm in the same boat with U. I asked Pratik when could I get mine & he was like the next time he comes out to HH, but he's been M.I.A., so I guess it's when ever.

Sorry guys, we can start up a new thread with interest and then order again. Its just I can't order like 1 or 2 of them here and there. We'd need at least 20 or something like that. Im sure with all the new members though there is some interest.

Hehe.. I'm not an active member, but I'm in the DC area which puts me close to the action that you guys are in. Would like to attend some events and meet other enthusiasts and share some tips. I missed HIN this year, but after seeing some of the pics, I'm glad I did. I would have been in HOT water with my girl with all that eyecandy around. I also registered on the NGC website, but I'm in the midst of planning my wedding so a good chunk of free time is spent on that.

My sig is originally derived from a sig I used during my Warcraft II days and it just stuck. Shibal is roughly equivalent to the F word in Korean. I added Z for no reason.

I'm actually having a problem with IOC. I took my car in for a Oil change and rear axle clicking problem about a month and a half ago. They told me they had to order the part for the rear and they would call me when I comes in. 3 weeks later I called back and ask Vince when was the part coming in. He act like he didn't know what I was talking about and forward the call to parts. Then parts told me the part was nevered ordered and it will be here the following Monday. 2 weeks later still no call. So I had to call Vince back, he's busy with a customer (left message), he never returned my call. 2 days later I call back this time I told the recep. that I didn't want to talk to him I want to talk to Gary, well since he's on medical leave she'll have Vince call me. Finally Vince calls back and put me in the books for this Monday. My rear axel sounds like someone have one of those plastic clappers following me. IOC use to have great people to deal with.
