I just came from EB games in Bowie and the dude that works there said that the reason y SONY delayed PS3 til NOV. is that they wanted to see what M.S. & Nintendo would be doing, so I guess u can really say that sony copied off nintendo with the motion sensors in the controllers, & M.S. with the wireless controller and how u can connect it to the USB port to charge it up{just like 360} and another thing he said was that it is rumored that the 20gb PS3 would not be coming with Wi-Fi, Blue tooth and other little specailites that the 60gb PS3 would come with. So pretty much U are forced to buy the 60gb PS3 if U want 2 enjoy all of the extra features

 

This is what happens when you use a prototype chipset. The burden is passed on to the consumer. Now I dont own a Xbox 360, but I like how the MS concept of not getting a whole new chipset and just rehashing the previous chipset, which saves money. Sony on the other hand is trying to rape and force the consumer to the high end version PS3. Although, there are 2 different prices, and if what you say is tru, then there is really only one price and most of us are going to the bells and whistles version anyway.

I dont respect sony for their thievery but I will be buying one none-the-less. Call me a hypocrite heh. Seriously though, that controller didnt even get a makeover excpet for paint. That sucks @ss in my opinion.

the 360 controller is the best controller I have used to date. it surpasses the dualshock against all of what I believed before I got the 360. I Thought nothing could be a sony controller. shame on me.

^^^ they pretty much stole sony's controller layout and made it more ergonomic and yes the xbox360 controller is the most comfortable ever.

btw Nintendo stole M$'s motion sensing technology from almost 10 years ago. M$ released a sidewinder controller many years ago with motion sensing, it never caught on because it was for the PC and didnt get mass support.
Nintendo also stole the original rumble techology from M$

 

Gears of War for Xbox360 looks absolutely amazing. The gameplay mechanics seems much more advanced than Halo. easily the best looking game on Xbox360

saw the halo 3 trailer already, its all CGI, no gameplay . its a heck of a trailer though, but it dosnt really do anything for me without seeing what the game engine is capable of. they are pushing for a very strong holidy this year though, xbox360 has quite a few high profile games this winter, while PS3 will be launching with weaker titles until jugarnauts like Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out.
Nintendo on the other hand has a bunch of crappy looking games. that tennis game and 1st person shooter game just looks god awful.
