G v EVO? eh...?

how fast is EVO?
i was looking at the thread in this forum by truplay (blacked out G in florida and AT) and i heard that he was 1.5 car length behind of EVO.
according to him, both of them had some simple mods.
220lbs difference compare to AT cars and slightly more for MT.
i was simply comparing numbers between G and EVO.

anyone raced EVO, STI or other AWD cars?
i like to hear some stories thx

EVO is much faster lol, they usually run mid 13 seconds.., they eat us for breakfast. they are have extremely agressive gearing though, so their 4th and 5th are weak compared to us. we can take them off a high speed roll with our superior topend, but thats only vs stock EVOs, they are so cheap to mod, there arnt many stock ones out there. so basically they eat us for breakfast anyways even on a highspeed roll.

didnt know they were cheap to mod since the price of the car is pretty close to G :O

stock evo should own us bad 50-90, even if the G is manual. we can only win if the race starts at like 80+ hehe

Ive "raced" many a Evo and STI in my day. My G is 6MT, Intake and Greddy TruDual exhaust.....it wasnt even close.....trust me.

from a dig, i got crushed - duh!

from a roll (about 30-40) i got crushed

and from a highspeed roll (75+) i got crushed.

And by crushed i dont mean they were 10 cars ahead, but i was never in the race...or had a shot at winning.

The ONLY time you MIGHT have a shot is IF THE EVO IS STOCK - and your up around 100+....they die out up there...

Otherwise, just sit back in your leather seats, use your steering wheel controls, and turn on your heated seat and realize that your car is lux and theres is fasttt

keep in mind about their "simple mods"
they are much easier to mod, so even though their mods may be simpler and easier---they produce greater results than ours.
and yeah, although i've never really raced one, i have driven my buddies evo--would easily knock my socks off
