TRI State Meet Hosted by Us

It would be great for us to get some ideas, solid ideas down on who, what, when, where.... for a TRI State meet held here in either VA or MD. Some big questions are:

1) Which Parks would hold what we need. Location?

2) Sponsors... sponsors... sponsors

3) How will we fund the food?

With our powers combined, we can form captain planet n 'sh*t so what do you all think?

My major input is that the sponsors should have booths/stands to show off their goods/services.

i think this idea sucks!! j/k. If you can find a big vendor really interested, i'm sure they can host the event. This would probably limit to one sponsor though. But there are a few vendors around here that might want to participate. I'm sure AAM would want some publicity since they're doing a lot of G/Z work and you might be able to contact Turbonectic and have them do some sort of raffle for their turbo . I only throw that in there . I think they did that for the westcoast meet or something. Just a thought. It is a great idea and i'm sure if we start planning now, we can probably put something together for spring/summer.

I am hoping on UTR coming back along with likely 2-3 dealerships from the area unless we are restricted to one. We have a lot of options and I would like to hear what everyone has to say so that we can get this even rolling. Please keep your advice focused so that we can pull all the information pretty easily when we round up specifics.

I wonder if any of the local tracks would be interested in hosting an event of this size? I could call and see, but I would need a date.
