This is kinda funny.OK here is the deal. This is an UNORGANIZED Club, not in many bad ways, but this is the sort of things that happen when you don't have a chain of command. I honestly am suprised at how well things turn out with the lack of overall effort that we all are guilty of. I am no better then any of you except of course clokdeezal, and I too failed to keep up with this event. I half-a$$ed tried, then when the response slowed I bailed. I felt guilty about it, because believe it or not, I don't like to let you all down, and it pisses me off when I can't help you guys out with stuff. If we all expect to get things better organized, then a commitee needs to be made that soul purpose is to organize & maintain club events. This is my 2 cents and to me, nothing matters now because I;m leaving soon, but I hope you all keep this together.........it would be ghey to start my own chapter in TX and not have the parent club active...LOL

The direction or structure of the club is still an issue to me. Everytime we organize things, it gets a little sloppy, especially when money is involved. We'd either need to avoid entertaining ideas for such big events completely, or establish a comittee for such event. We have learned that we're not able to wing it and hope everything pulls together magically.

Mostly I think it's about the members, we all got our priorities, but I'd personally like to see more people step up when the club needs them. I mean, simply take more ownership/responsibility of NGC, it is what you make it to be. I personally think that's the reason why it fell through. John started it, and I'm sure he expected more people to step up and support him. Without it, there's noway he want going to be able to put this together and that's what ultimately happened. I commend those that step up to contribute or were planning to contribute money, I mean, if you're not going to help out in any other ways, just give us your money!! haha . Other contributed in other ways, every little thing helps. Power in number only works when everyone contributes. I think I learned alot from this experience, just wanted to share my observation..haha

Pratik said it. We started this on the basis of just being crazy about the car. Structure can cause more problems than it solves. Its up to you guys if you really want to head that route.
