Well I'm glad someone finally stepped up and said something! Prob. something that we all think in our heads and don't say.

I hate to rehash this subject and won't write a great big manifesto about this. The reason this is a sore subject is because I've had people from other clubs approach me about it like what's the deal? Because we dropped the ball on this (or better yet because we started a thread about this so early in advance with no planning AND still started a thread in another club's forum) I think this happened and honestly it looks bad on the club.

I've had a handful of people tell me the club is great and this and that. I'm glad to hear. Then I have another handful that say they dont like the direction and we should plan more things out. OK then, lets have a committee meeting to discuss some ideas (I didn't think this was too much to ask). What? Everyone lives close to Northern VA. OK, lets have it at Fairfax at 11. Guess what? A whopping 3 other people show up. We call up John and he's still sleeping in bed. We all went to Mongolian bbq the night before and i'm driving 45 minutes to even make it there right in your backyard! So we joke it off as its not a big deal but meanwhile we all think these things in our head. Am I taking this a little too seriously? Probably, but I think we'd all agree the club has now become apart of our lives and look forward to get-togethers.

Unfortunately as I always say, people have their priorities and I'm not going to clean up someone else's ish for that reason. Some people even put some time into calling up parks, visiting parks and scoping out the situation... All for not.

Rhea, No I won't do it because someone else f'ed up here. Not my problem.

Clitdeezal, No I wasn't told off. Me calling you a fattie that has too large of a face for even your big body and Michael Strahan gap teeth would be telling you off. Your jokes in every message you post is gettin old. Let me know when you come up with something original or at least something someone hasnt been said 1000x over.

I thought that was a closed meeting only for certain members. I would have been there, I live right down the road from where it was.

Yes thats nobodys fault but the people involved. We invited several and hardly anyone showed up. We'll have to make it open to some others now because the first approach didnt work.

Jeff, It was .. but we counted on some people who were invited to be there... I also think it looks bad upon the club, firstly to start planning an event of this caliber out and secondly inviting other clubs before we have anything planned. I dont know if this is going to go through or not, but we have definately learned a thing or two from this experience.

I let it go, its dead like Devon said. And if you wanna call a name out pratik, be a man and do so. Dont be chicken.

Attempts were made at this with no success so if you all want this to happen. Have at it.

John, don't worry i'll call you out. Plain and simple you SCREWED UP AND DIDNT FOLLOW UP ON IT. (Anyone can see who started this thread) Call it lazy, call it whatever you want. Attempts were made? I spoke with a few people outside this club and asked around. In fact I know of a few parks where Z's have done big meets and local parks would be OK. Hell I even went to Blogs Park on my way back from Devon's. I'm not buying that excuse.

You shouldn't even worry about the efforts I've made eventhough this may not materialize. I've always tried to do as much as I can and always try to put the club first and foremost. I cant say the same for others.

Again John this just isnt you, its others, hell prob. even me on an occasion or two. Fact is it needs to be said and addressed. People think it all the time, trust me. Now its a matter of them saying something.

Ken, as I said come up wtih something original. Im not trying to be b!tchy but it just needs to be said thats all.

Its about time you manned up instead of being a b!tch about it. Nothing is going to change because of your 2 cents. You dont know **** that Ive done to try to make this happen. I am not going to advertise it like im trying to win a medal or a few brownie points like yourself. Im through making an @ss of you on the forums. Discuss this personally with me if you have a problem. HH sounds fine to me.

WHOA!!! everybody take a deep breath, so who's down for a groupbuy?? sike. Please Please tone down the posts before this gets out of hand. I would suggest we discuss all of this offline, this is not the place to be lashing at each other. Simple misunderstand can lead to other sh|t. We're all adults so let's deal with this issue in person (HH!! ). We don't need this to go back and forth, THIS is what making us look bad. Just a thought

Ok, I am gonna say this and be serious. This is 2006 and we live in the metro DC area where it seems like money is everything. So its simple and this refers to everyone, If we were gettin paid to organize this thing, you would probably see this thing come together, but since we arent, People are not going to put everything into this. We will simply just make suggestions and get it done at our own convienence. The real truth is if you want NGC to function like some kind of organization Pratik, then maybe we should have a little structure first and that is my 2 cents.

It didnt take HH for things to get settled. Pratik Im'd me and we got the venting out of the way. The funny thing is now I actually respect him more for coming to me in IM like he did since Im under the impression that a handful of people on this forum are gossipers and like to talk about people to other people just like they are in beautyshops getting their nails done, and wont say anything to me directly.

For that, I apprceiate your bravado on that Pratik, but there are a lot of new issues now not involving you.

I agree with Ken about why this event has not been setup. Money is a huge factor. Hell, only a handful of people including me were willing to throw up some money to get this thing going, but that wasnt enough for some of you.

If anyone has an issue with how im dealing with this, I will go along with and appreciate Khoas words. Talk to Me directly. Im gossip is for b!tches.

I never wanted it to form like some kind of organization. It was just to get together with other G35 enthusiasts. Whats happened now is we really do have a lot more people. More people than expected and with that comes other issues that you ahve to deal with.

As for the Tri-State meet I dont think it'll happen not because of money or we couldnt get it to work but because of the G-Squad now and how they are and can be. Chances are they prob wouldnt even show up all the way down here.

In the meantime I still think we should have something ourselves and we can discuss that at a later time. When speaking with some others outsdie this club they said Lake Seneca in Germantown is a great option and where some Z's held a big meet. Its around $200-$300 or so? Its not a bad option and you get your own pavilion. A lot of the cars had to park on the grass but I dont think thats a big deal.
