Dyno Run #2!!

All I can say is WOW!!!! Here are the numbers.
All of these are done by measurement....

Max Gains
--------------------Before-----------After
Max Power---------- 236 HP---------237.7
Max Torque----------221 TQ--------224 TQ

Ok if you just look at that you are like WTF?? The answer is this is just what the Highs were.
Here is were the best part is....

Highest Gains in horsepower were around 4-4800 rpm were I gain aprox. 20HP. Highest gain in torque was aprox. 18 Tq and that was the largest gap from before. There is a 5-8 tq difference almost all the way through the rpm range. There is a gain in hp as well almost all the way through then I lose some from 6250 till 7000 rpm. I will be at the track tonight, and Tom who did the Dyno said he expects at least a .2 of a sec gain. Now for the Dyno chart ...the low one you see is for comparison. Sorry for the quality, I have it on PDF file and I couldn't figure out how to transfer it. If anyone wants the both of them I have them on PDF.

hes talking about throughout the band of the rpm range. you get the same peak horsepower but you get there faster in other words.

Devon, how much did you lose up top?

The green graph was his run from last week. The blue and red graphs are his runs from today. If you look at the graphs between 4000 and 4800 rpm, you'll see that his runs are higher up on the y axis, approximately 20hp higher . The gains from 5250 to about 6200 look good too!

OK drum roll please...................I got race slips, 2 to be exact.

Ok now for some filler first. Both of these runs I had a problem getting the power to the wheels. John will attest to that. So basically I spun 1st gear. Ok enough filler.

1st Run
14.074 @ 102.28mph
R/T 1.133
60' 2.180
330 5.932

2nd Run
13.927 @ 102.73mph
R/T .613
60' 2.103
330 5.932

YES I finally hit 13's.....yea me. I can get better I just have to learn the new launch for this beast. Gotta be below 2000 rpm. I tried 2200rpm and spun BAD, 2000 rpm and spun a little less.

hey Devon, i remember you said you felt like your max whp rating seems too low, I noticed the dyno is SAE instead of STD. SAE should be like 7hp+ lower.
