Still Here - Need Some Advice
Yes, it's the ellusive HooperX. Guess ya'll won't be rid of me that easily :-). The game just got delayed until next March, which means another 4 months of 80 hour weeks, and me realizing that there's no way I can deal with selling my car right now. Which leads me to...
...another winter tires thread. Sorry to add another one, but I need some advice. I'm thinking that getting a set of 17" rims with Blizzaks is the best move. But I'm not sure what to do for the rims. I was looking at the cheapest ones on Tirerack (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...t+Silver+Paint), but I'm guessing there's probably a reason they're the cheapest rims. I don't want anything fancy for winter driving, but I don't want it to look silly either. I've also heard recommendations for picking up a used set of stock 17"'s, but the marketplace here and eBay seem to be filled with CA-based sellers. Is there a better place I should be looking?
Finally, for those with a seperate set of winter wheels, did you get a seperate set of TPM sensors? If not, are they pretty easy to switch over? I've heard they need calibration and all that.
Thanks for any advice you guys can give, and sorry for the rambling post. My brain pretty much checked out a few months ago :-).

Fixed link. Doh.
