Car-Cover choices (?)

So I'm looking at getting a car cover. My G is stored in a car-port so it does need to be able to take the elements.
I think I've narrowed it down to either the Covercraft Weathershield or Evolution. Has anyone used either of these?

Weathershield
http://www.covercraft.com/weathershield.htm
Evolution
http://www.covercraft.com/technalon%AE.htm

The Weathershield is what Infiniti is now offering for a car cover. It looks thin as all h*ll, but they clame that it is a true all-weather cover. The Evolution kind of speaks for itself, it has the appearance and stats of your typical all-weather cover. I'd like the compactness of the Weathershield, but I do need to protect my baby.

Yea, Infiniti sales a version of the Weathersheild; it's $200 (after NGC discount).
I saw the Evolution cover at Stillen.com for $181.

hmm 200 isnt bad for the infiniti cover. I might go that route since a garrage where I am costs 150 a month, and I truly dont think I could park in that little box.

I've got a NOAH cover that I used for a couple months that I might be willing to part with if you're interested which is in my opinion better than both fabrics you listed.

My car is parked 100% in my garage and I bought it for the 2 months my car was parked outside while I closed on my new home.

I got the Infiniti one for $200 plus a free cable lock to lock the cover on and prevent people from takiing the cover off.....It is custom for your car, so if you have a spoiler you need to tell them.

I ended up ordering a custom fit NOAH cover. Should be arriving any day now. I'll give an update once it's in.

So a car cover doesn't damage the paint in any way even if the wind is causing it to rub against the paint? I'm guessing that's better than having freezing rain ice up your car.

Correct. With a good cover the fibers are coated so that they wont scratch your finish. With my black G this is something that I was very concerned about. The thing scratch REALLY easy!
