Thanks for that. I am really falling in love with the Cell's technology the more I find out about it.

GT3 was one of the main reasons I bought a PS2 when I did.

GT4 is pretty f*n sweet. Unfortunatly the PS2 can't quite keep up with it.

GT5 for the PS3....
I'll be buying a PS3 the day GT5 comes out...

PS Polyphony develops GranTurismo

forza motorsports is as good, if not a better title, than gran tourismo.

i used to be diehard sony, but after having my xbox for a while, i won't buy another playstation. just the fact that sony still hasn't really released any info on a proposed online network ala xbox live will keep me away. its amazing how much xbox live has changed gaming. just when you are getting bored of it, you can go whoop some *** online!

from the techincal posts made so far, it seems like I will be having both machines, but I am more anxious to see the PS3 and what models they offer for it. Until I find out, I would only care for the core game machine. I dont need another entertainment center unless it does something fabulous.

It can be great, and it can be terrible. I'm currently at Bethesda Softworks (trying to finish up Elder Scrolls: Oblivion) which is considered one of the best in the industry for quality of life. I worked at EA Tiburon previously, so I've also seen the worst. Nevertheless, in the last 5 months I haven't worked a week less than 60 hours and recently it's been 12 x 7.

On the plus side, it's a really casual atmosphere and from time to time we do get to play with some neat toys :-).

cool, Im really anticipating the next Elder Scrolls, it looks nothing short of amazing! definetly one of my most anticipated tittles next gen. I have no idea what im going to end up doing when I graduate soon. But video games industry definetly sounds fun, when youre passionate about what youre doing, long hours dosnt really seem that bad . good luck with the game dude.
