I'm confused on what you're asking here? The Ipod plays mp3's. Why is there any conversion needed? If anything what happens is you put the mp3's onto the ipod and it uses its only proprietary stuff to convert it.

Yea, the stuff from iTunes is m4p. I didn't know you could load mp3's directly onto ipods.

You should have no trouble getting mp3s to your iPod. I have hundreds on mine. If they're in your Library they will transfer over (assuming you didn't deselect them).

Yah, you'll definately want to just load your MP3's on your iPod. I just loaded 8915 MP3's on my iPod Photo for my trip to Hong Kong this weekend. Every single one of them was MP3, and none of them downloaded from iTunes. There is little to no point in converting your mp3's as mp3 is a lossy compression algorithm. Think of it like JPEG's - the more you dork with them, the worse they are going to get. And even if you were to change them from MP3 to a lossless algorithm, it wouldn't improve the quality. Think of it as going from a dubed, dubed, dubed tape and putting it on a CD and thinking you are going to get a better sounding song. It you start with crap, you're just going to end up with quality crap in the end

At this point in the game, the only reason you'd want to convert your MP3's is if either a) you were putting them somewhere that doesn't read them (HIGHLY doubtfull) b) you wanted to change the compression rate to change the file sizes.

Asia rocks. I've been to over half of Europe, 2/3 US, and a lot of Eastern Asian countries and I would definately say that the Asian ones the neatest. Some of the countries are just so sureal - you can't believe that you are actually seeing what you're seeing.

South Beach is fun but I wouldn't want to live there, maybe fort lauderdale but not south beach. It's too like "I have bigger rims than you, or my motorcycle is louder than yours, or i have more gold on than you." type of deal that I just don't care for. Just my 2 cents I know a lot of my friends love it.

Yah, I was just in Beijing the other week and they had street vendors where you could eat all sorts of interesting things. I was a wuss and only ate the scorpion on a stick (stinger, claws and all), but there were people eating millipedes, star fish, and goat innerds. It's also to see some of the scary *** driving they do over there. I was sitting at a stoplight when I saw a bus come barreling up behind me. It took the shoulder, ran through an intersection doing at least 30mph, and kept on truckin'. I asked the driver if he saw that and he just responded "Eh, busses don't have to stop for red lights". Oh geeze. It was nice to be in a cab though that did 95mph in a 55 zone while passing the cops and they didn't even bat an eye. I'm so jealous. I must say, though, driving on the Authbahn was cool, though it's a little disheartening to be doing 110mph in a Mercedes just to get BLOWN BY someone in a Porche

I have been on the Autobahn before, but unfortunately I wasn't driving then and was in a van. One of these times I'll get a sweet sports car and go driving there. Its awesome.
