Anything going on this weekend? Is there any drives? I haven't gotten out for a long drive in ages. Have you guys been to IDYLWOOD? It's near Tyson's short but nice and curvy. Haven't been for a long time because of potholes at one of the corners. I'm so bored and tired of winter I just want to get out and drive!!

I am hoping to go for a little bit - unsure whether the start or end of the event, as I have to do a roundtrip to PA on Sun afternoon.

 

Im going to drop by for a bit...have some BBQ...and DEF a drive.

Listed below is the agenda for the day on Sunday for those that are going to participate. I took into consideration all ideas and time conflicts that individuals had, and hope this can maximize participation in the event. The weather is looking to be incredible for Sunday, so this should be a very successful event.
What I need from everyone now is an individual(s) to step up and volunteer to help out with food items, transportation of coolers, and eating utensils. If anyone has an “in” to any of these products i.e. family in the restaurant business, owns a slaughterhouse, you know, etc. please utilize your resources, think of it as trying to find a DEAL on a good mod.
We are going to need some of the following items, but it is a BBQ and I’m sure you all know what they consist of:

1) Meat (various sorts)
2) Beverages ( non-alcoholic)
3) Ice Cooler ( hopefully someone is going to bring an SUV, possibly anFX)
4) Charcoal Briquettes, lighter fluid
5) Condiments
6) Hamburger Buns, Hot Dog Buns
7) Baked Beans, Coleslaw, other sides
8) Garbage bags
9) Eating utensils, Plates, forks, and cups
10) Lawn toys ( football, Frisbee)
11) Camera ( still and video)

Let me know if I have forgotten anything, also keep in mind this is a great time to swap parts, sell parts, and see some mods in person that pics and videos just don’t do justice!!

I will begin listing what individuals are bringing so that we know what to expect and whom to blame for lack their of :P in a following post once I receive what people are bringing.

12:00 Meet up for individuals that well, have nothing better to do and want to go for a quick jaunt before the BBQ ( just remember people you will be carrying food in your cars so drive as to avoid having your interior covered with baked bean vinyl). (We will be meeting at the Target at Springfield Mall)

1:00-2:00 Begin BBQ prep at location site.

3:00 Have food grilling away, Frisbee, football, car talk, you know the usual

4:00 Chow time!! Lets Grub!

5:00-5:30 Clean up time

5:30-7:00 Nice cruise around the NOVA area, pictures, video, the fun stuff!!

Nice seeing some of you guys at the meet yesterday. The drive was great and so was the food. I was exhausted by the time we got to the sunoco. Went home and just passed out. Not many G's showed up though.
