Hmm..

Xbox360:
-Current HW issues are plaguing early buyers. I'd say wait until MS can get their ID issues in order and release their "fixed" version.
-Halo 3 edition will be launched with the game debut so perhaps another reason to wait?

PS3:
-I heard the Square announcements which is good. Unfortunately, I haven't seen many compelling titles as of yet. Right now, Japan is the only market where Sony has some weight against MS right now and they are still getting *** kicked by Nintendo.

Wii:
-Crappy graphics and display adapter may plague them when the platform gets long in the tooth.
-Right now it's so hot, they are still on backorder in certain markets.
-People with small children, markets not traditionally catered to by the gaming industry, and non-fanboys who want more of a casual experience than Xbox360 or PS3 has asserted themselves in the marketplace.
-There is no denying that Nintendo has "tapped" into something no other gaming company has even thought of.
-Unfortunately, careful execution and keeping their platform fresh will be a challenge as better and better games are released for PS3 and 360.

the developer was talking about the suit that U wear that has time control capabilities. If a bad guy throws a grenade at U and it sticks to your body, U can reverse time and the grenade will go flying back to him and blow his azz up...so this is pretty much going to be on my 2 GET LIST

So that's Y G.T. 5 iz taking so long to come out, they are putting the GTR in the game , but really this might be the 1 game for me to go out and buy a PS3

^Oh shyt, I didnt even know about resident evil 5. Well I played and beat the first 2 and then watched my friends beat the third and I didnt even play the 4th cuz that shyt was just getting too outta hand. I think I might be ready to play the 5th, but I can only imagine how the graphics are gonna be...almost too real.

the first one had a part where u walked down this hall way in the police station and U had to turn around and go back down the same damn hall way and when U passed the boarded up window two sets of arms came through....MANG I jumped like shyt

 

i think the ps3 is really starting to distance it self from xbox360 this xmas in term of graphics, the new games that sony announced all look quite better than xbox360's halo 3. especially killzone 2.

xbox360 experienced the same thing last christmas, when it first came out the games looked like regular xbox games (perfect dark etc), the the 2nd wave headed by gears of war totally took the graphics to another level.

When ps3 just came out the games did not look any better than xbox360 games despite the huge advantage in processing power. now with tittles like killzone 2, unreal turnament 3, especially HAZE and metal gear solid 4, and heavenly sword, and GT5, the graphics of the 2nd wave of games has surpassed xbox360's capabilities imo.

but in the end graphics dont mean much unless you got gameplay to back it up, the ps2 dominated the xbox despite being much weaker. we already know Halo3's game play is going to be sick and Gears of War 2 is going to be great.
Until we get a real sense of sony' HOME vs xbox live, id still get all multiplayer games on the 360 instead of ps3.

Right now im playing: The Darkness (xbox360), Ninja Gaiden sigma (ps3, too hard , i cant even beat the 2nd level), and Overlord (xbox360, i cant put this game down!)

btw as for resident evil 5... its for both systems, but they havnt even shown any game play yet stop getting all excited over a CGI clip!
