Preventing ice mode = disable yaw sensor?

Hi guys,

Just picked up a 2013 g37s and was planning on autocrossing it soon. I've been reading about some common issues with the g37/370z's at the tracm. Particularly, about the vdc and and "ice mode" that happens under hard breaking sometimes.

I read in a few posts but I wanted to be sure, but does unplugging the yaw sensor disable both vdc and prevent the ice mode from occurring?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I've been trying to follow some threads there but no clear answer whether this is the definitive solution.

It’s hard to sift through the weeds, but the conclusion that I came to by reading those threads as well as similar threads for other vehicle manufacturers that use a Bosch ABS unit: Ice mode is a function the ABS module alone and is not impacted by disabling the Yaw Sensor.
