Nope, but plan on doing so next time. When I changed my oil it looked no worse for the wear but I still need to send it off for analysis to see how it fared.
I don't know why infiniti and some other auto manufacturers who make sporty cars don't add a gauge to check for something as crucial as oil temp.

I run Hawk HPS pads with stock rotor and no complain so far.
I think HP+ is one up from HPS, but it also increase noise and dust. So if your car is daily driven, then noise and dust would be a concern.

Looks great! I take my sedan (I have a 2013 G37s Grey like yours but auto) to autocross events. Driving on an oval is cool, but handling is where it's really fun. The back end of any G37 will come around really fast (without traction control) if you don't learn car control. That's why I'm a fan of this sport.
Look for the SCCA events on California Sports Car Club - Solo - SCCA or Solo Schedule | San Diego Region SCCA
I attend both events.
There is an event on Saturday and Sunday (June 13 and Jun 14 respectively) this and next weekend. This weekend is in El Toro at the old Marines airbase. Imagine dodging cones on an air strip. Its a family crowd and very safe, lots of instruction, and tons of learning about your car, from other drivers and what can be done to the car. IMHO the best mod is seat time for the driver. The more you get, the faster you are.
Any drivers are welcome (no SCCA license needed to be there, but it's $15 per day for a day license, or a weekend pass...I forget which), and they even have lender helmets, but bring your own if you have one. Free to get in and watch. Free to passenger. And they have a food truck on site. What more could you ask?
One word of note...The more you modify, the higher your racing class which means tougher competition. Check out the rule books from SCCA Solo2.
Best,
Steve

The Brakes...
I use Hawks HPS on mine too I autocross my sedan on the weekends). I noticed that the Hawk HPS pads are great on the street too.
Yea, instructors in your car are optional. What they make you do as a beginner as I was is you do a follow the leader around the track for your first 2 sessions. You have an instructor in the first car and you just follow him around. There he teaches you how to enter and exit, and also passing is taught.
