I ran a G35C that had an exhaust from a roll and he saw my taillights consistently. The G35C just doesn't have the top end that we do. I used to own a 2003 6-speed coupe and I will admit that they pull hard, just not as hard up top as the G37 IMO.

I come from a G35C, and the G37 is definitely quicker.

Because the G37's make their G35's look so dated.
Hating is the only way they can feel better about themselves.
I still love the G35's though.
+1 on the whale tails. I wish ours had a little whale action goin'. Probably wouldn't flow well with the trunk line though.

i also came from a g35c and for me, the g35c just felt more raw. not sure how to explain it, but the lack of refinement gave it sense of being faster. the g37 is just a smooth, refined beast.

I don't think G35s were doing better than 13.9s stock?

exactly thats what i was trying to say I herd they couldnt break into 13's without forced induction soo I just dont see where they get this info fromm lol maybe the G35c's that are keeping up with the g37s are autos? but then again I still saw that the g37 auto can run a 13.7 even though im pretty sure it had HFC's soo who knows??

Sorry but that isn't exactly true. The 13.4 was done on a faster track, so you would have to compare the 1/4 time and trap speeds on the same track for a real comparison.

Are you guys talking about 07 Auto vs 08 Auto or 07 Manual vs 08 Manual???

The Autos do not compare to the 08 6MT. The G37S 6mt top end simply destroys the G35 Coupe in all forms. My ex-girlfriend has a 07 coupe and it's no comparison, not even close. Maybe a 07 6MT can be with-in distance but definitely not an Auto. I used to drive her car often, and there is an extremely noticeable difference.

I had so many encounters with g35 coupes on the beltway/highway and there is no comparison.

being the one who ran the stock 13.4, I've never seen a g35 break 13.9 at the same track

I ran a 03 or 04 6MT Coupe, and from a 3rd gear roll I already began to pass him, and at the top of 4th gear at like about 120. I was pulling on him hard, and passed him at about the top of 4th gear, he was shocked to get passed like that by a Sedan! HAHA, not sure what kine mods he had, but top end on the VQ HR, is crazy! And I also wanted to see if my Stillen Exhaust I just put on was worth it, LOL. I can say it definately was! And it's not all car, it's definantely has to be also driver experience. Like at the track, you can beat a faster car if that guy does not know how to shift a Manual car, unlike Auto, where you just mash the gas, LOL.

Damn bro that's pretty fast on the Hawaii (Interstae) lol!. Wish Guam had a freeway like HI-1, but island is just not big enough. What part of the freeway were you guys on, the one between Kapolei and Ewa Beach?

HAHA, nah was on da H3! On one of the recent G cruzes we had. Just wanted to see what my G sedan could do. Never really opened it up all out with another car till then. I know I can Scratch 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears easily! WIth VDC on or off, LOL. It's nothing like my Supercharged Stang. But it's a fun car, Comfy and some ***** to boot! LOL. Just wish a new Track opens soon here! Sucks we can't run the 1/4mile! Goota take the Ferry to Maui sometime and run thier track. Only option we got. Since the Ferry does not go to Hilo aith thier Awesome Track!

Coming from a G35 the G37 is superior in everway to the G35.

Most g35s ran 14s stock. The fastest mag test was 14.2. For the G37 its 13.8. If someone wants to say that 4 tenths of a second is not that much faster in the quarter then they are in denial.

The fastest stock time slip for previous generation a coupe I saw on the G35 boards was 14.1 and that was on an auto. I don't remember any stockers breaking 13s. Most of the time it was mid 14s.

a friend of mine who had a revup g35 says my car feels much more quicker in the lower rpm ranges. From 2k-4k he says my car feels much more torquey than his g35 6speed.
