Sept. 30th Track Day

Took the G to another track day yesterday at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. Still hitting the annoying limp mode, it looks like ambient temp has nothing to do with it. (more here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-and-forced-induction/185652-trackday-datalog-hello-limpmode.html)

It was still a ton of fun. Pacific Raceways may be a shorter track, but it's still quite challenging. Always nice to run down some dude in a brand new 911 Carrera S.

Anyway, here's the in-car video. Watch for the part at 5:50 where I get a little sideways. Turn 8 was a bit slick.

Looks like a good time! Keep the videos coming....Reference the limp mode, I have an auto and tracked it all day in Cali in hot *** weather. I had (4) separate sessions for a 1/2 hour each. Car never entered limp mode until the very last ten minutes of the day. Maybe it can be reflashed away?? I'll try and get a hold of someone from Technosquare to see.

I posted this up on the other post with the graphs but I called Tadashi from Technosquare today. He hadn't heard of the limp mode and isn't sure why its happening. He said he needs a car to come in and be run hard on the dyno. He has to induce the limp mode so he can study it. I don't have time to do this anytime soon so if anyone is interested he can be reached at 310-787-0847. His shop is in Torrance.

Thanks for the video.

You're very smooth overall. Beautiful track. I'm used so used to the DESERT scenery out here on our tracks in CA...
