looks like the G37S autos can get 13.75s and trap as high as 104!

this was my favorite quote "Ivan (he was driving the IS350) got him off the line but then the G37 pulled on him. That was wierd.
The same with me- I jumped on the G37 from the line and then things leveled out just a little bit up top. I jumped almost a car on him every time and then I would only pull ever so slightly upwards to the end of and after 2nd gear."

...gotta love that top end pull....

This is good news for me because I am planning to get a 5AT (dont get me wrong here, I love driving a manual, just not day to day in traffic, and I like the idea of paddle shifters so its AT for me). How are people with the AT liking it as a tranny? Does it shift well in all modes?

It shifts well in all modes. Manual mode is a little querky sometimes with low speed downshifts. You should apply some gentle pressure on the gas when downshifting to minimize any delay. Medium/High speed downshifting is quick.

2-3 shift in manual mode can be clunky if you short shift it without lifting the throttle.
1-2 shift is tricky. You have to click at 7K to avoid reving up into the rev limiter. If you click the paddles after 7k and you will slightly stumble off the rev limiter before the car can finish it's shift.
All the other gears are instant.

Great results....im not surprised tho...My best friend has an IS350 with intake and HKS exhaust so we run all the time....He is able to edge me out by a door length or so by about 100mph. But im all stock and only have 1k miles, hes got 14k so his car is settled in.

Ive been part of the IS forum for about 6 years now...And I'll tell you the IS is a great car. That video is awesome but they get faster.... This specific IS has a lot more than just intake and exhaust....Hes got a full custom self made ECU upgrade that features intense tweaking, along with some other small things. 12.8's!!!

Hoping with Power proven intake and exhaust we can get into 13.3's
