This post is why the 145mph or actually going up in that range was mentioned

The splitter saved your bumper! niceee...
The splitter holds up pretty good, but I highly recommend using at least 7 nuts and bolts instead of screws.
Actually it was the Stilen license plate bracket that saved my bumper.. Completely bent it. Lol

Did 150mph w/o turnbuckles but wasn't excessively doing 150+ nonetheless it held on with no problem

Some will say yes, others will say no. Depends how well you install it.

HI,
I am curious if anyone else would be interested in a carbon fiber version of this splitter? If you know of one that is already being made, I would appreciate it if you would point me in the right direction.

I may be interested. For a while there were a couple companies that would do cf over the existing stillen splitter but none lately.

Well depends who you ask. There is an entire thread on people bitching at Stillen because theirs came off without the turnbuckles.

<--- lost mine, without the buckels, I don't think they are the dealbreaker though it's the crappy self tapping screws. Used 15 stainless nuts and bolts .25" and no buckles and never had another issue.
