Weight Reduction

I know reviving this from the dead, but it'll help to avoid people starting new threads. Just to add to this if anybody is interested
Stock battery is 40.4lbs not what most people where saying here, thinking 50+
Stock g37s sport seats with seat belts 81lbs - EACH seat. Wow crazy heavy, I hated them so changed them out to some comfy (to me at least) racing seats. Didn't like leather or the hard bolsters on the stock seats. New seats are about 31ish lbs each, going off of the weight they were when shipped together.

My laptop has been out for awhile, virus. But I'll have a boat load as soon as I can upload them. Interior is worlds better being all black. First all black G37 I bet, hated the nasty tan headliner

The 370z isn't my style, but I forgot your right it looks just like a G37 so I should of bought that instead for the simple single fact that its lighter. Or maybe better yet everyone should buy miatas? Right? ...right?
FYI I replaced my battery with a redtop battery, guess what full size not with a light weight battery. I just happened to weight it on my scale in my garage. And my seats were weighted at ups when I sold them and shipped them to the buyer. Weight savings is nice but not my main priority. Just thought it would by nice to let people know who are curious because obviously some are if this thread was opened.
Again a 370z is not G37, just like a 370z isn't a miata

remove some speakers
would front speakers still work if the rear and sub are removed? for me no one seats in the back anyways...
and since no one seats back there then why not removed back seat and seatback.

Anyone know where I can find detailed instructions on removing the back seat bottoms? They feel loose enough that you could just pull them right out but I don't want to damage anything. Any ideas (either written or video)? Thanks!

The rear seat bottoms are removed by simply sharply pulling up on them. A sub/amp DIY here explains it.
