the doors are plenty heavy...with the added steel reinforcement on there, they are heavier than the 350Z doors. I think the c/f doors saved the Z 70lbs overall...

For anyone not tracking their car on a daily basis and still streeting it the idea of removing sound deadening, changing seats and such seems crazy to me. If I wanted a louder, less comfortable car I'd have bought a 350z...
for me, I have already cut my cars weight down by about 20 lbs. by doing a few of the before mentioned suggestion; i.e. removing the spare and tools, lighter weight dry cell battery and I also have removed all the plastic trim panels under the hood and around the car that are for cosmetic appearence and can put them back on anytime. I even built a custom sub box to drop into where my spare tire use to be, for anyone wanting to kill the spaare an d jack you can save almost 25 lbs just by doing that.. my amp, sub and the box that replace it weigh in a about 17 lbs so I didn't save as much as if I would do with out, but it is removable.

yea i dont like the 350 looks at all either.... With all the mods that UNV-IT is planning to do.. his car will kick the **** out a 350 any day on a track...
