Lol... I was going track, I'd have gone for a Z. But I was going for a touch of luxury as well so I got the G.

^^ if you do all the weight savings your going ot mess the balance up a tad regardless.

^^Tru but then you add mods for a little power, lower the car, etc all of which disrupt the original specs. I found its best to not to sweat the little things unless you are in serious track competition or something.

Make sure that you are always running with less than a quarter of a tank, that should save you about 100+lbs right there.

true ^^ im taking my spare and jack out soon... thats what AAA is for!! also my exhaust and test pipes are gonna shave 30-40 pounds off... I think the trunk does a little more than 2-3 pounds

take your doors off, take your hood off, trunk, windshield, rear window, drill holes in all the body panels, remove dash, yank seats, sit on milk crate, no gas tank, just use a liter of cola bottle and a siphon.....its just that easy.

Take the AC and hard drive out. That will drop almost 100 pounds.
