Who is thinking about going to Proving Grounds this summer? There will be two events, one in June and one in Sept. I will be attempting to dial in the suspension on road course during the first event.

My friends and myself are looking to take over the go-kart track again this year and call it 'Camp 218'. We have a pretty large group so it shouldnt be hard. Was hoping to get the G guys and gals in a group as well on the kart track.

I'm also bring the RC car with GoPro attachment, and hoping to get a quadracopter to fly the GoPro for some sweet video.

 

Me and a few buddies of mine will be going for sure. Hopefully I get a chance to drag for the first time.

Im sure they wouldn't mind doing some karting too. Is it outdoors? Cause ive only been to Pro-karts around burnsville and they have a pretty small track.

 

It's at BIR. It's all outdoors.

Brought this up on FB, but though it's worth the bump here. 2013.1 is June 21-23. I'm 80% going to be there, just have to remember to put in my request at my other job. Shouldn't be a problem. It's a weekend of drift, drag, and racing. Post up your plans, lets get a roll in group together.

 

I live in Brd so I'll already be there. If you want good camping spots get there early, we are at the gate by 6-7am. We will have a big group camping on the kart track and next to the Napa building by the road course entrance. Look for Octane Syndicate and Camp 218.

For me Friday will consist of getting camp set up, drinking, getting the car set up for the track, drinking, taking photos, and drinking. Saturday is road course all day dialing in the suspension, Sunday I'm entering the car in the show.

 

I'm debating on driving the road course, even though my car isn't really built. I just miss it. I won't be up until after noon on Friday, but I will be drinking the second I get there. I'm having my buddy drive a truck load of pallets up so I can have a huge fire. Lol.
