Yea so I remember. But 1% of the purchase price....some places are 2 to 3% so it could be worse. Just reminds me that I miss having a used car lol. Even my M was about this price for being 4 years old! But the sticker on that was quite a bit more so after depreciation it hurt a bit.
Also on a side note I think I will be reducing the amount of air in my tires, I've been running 38 in the rear and my tires are wearing a bit more in the middle vs the outside. The only reason I can think of is running a little extra air out in the back So I will do that to hopefully help the tread last a little longer, but even with high performance summer tires to get 20k miles out of a set like I have already is pretty awesome

I just have everything coming due at once and I'm not liking it, plus I'm busting my *** off to pay down my CC's so my move goes easier. I just happen to have rent, car payment and tabs all due at once. Next week I will get my commission check and I should be fine, I just spent more than I wanted to on the trip and it isn't helping. On the plus side I didn't tune and I didn't have to eat much or go out much so that was helpful

Yes they do. Once a car is 10 years old, the tabs are a flat rate of around $40, which is reasonable.
I found an even better loophole though. I was able to get collector plates for my 95 Dodge Stealth and 99 3000GT VR4. I paid about $38 each last year to get them. And now I never have to buy tabs again. Woo-hoo!
