I tinted my tails myself last winter to get the dark red look - scroll down the page to see my post on the process. Held up great all summer with no issues!

A few mods made to the G during hibernation - Page 2 - G35Driver

Dan is the man when it comes to taillight tint. His came out the exact shade i would've like mine to be. I'll eventually correct that.

I helped Ryan (duff daddy) tint his tails on his old car, but we used like 4 coats of nightshade. They basically were blacked out. The cops also thought the same thing, so he ended up removing the tint a few days later.

The only thing that stopped me from doing mine to far was not having another car to drive while I worked on these. Maybe someday next summer I will take on the task over a weekend. I don't have any of the buffer stuff though.

Yea I only put on 2 light coats. Mine is hardly noticeable as looking other than stock

We are supposed to get some snow this weekend. Kinda looking forward to it.

Kinda started looking at home theater speakers again. Anybody else kind of an audio guy? I know Brian is.

Long time no chat....

Hey crew,
Quick question, I am running 19" Hankook V12's on my car and when the weather got colder, I am noticing what feels like flat spotting until the tires warm up. Anyone ever have the same issue?? Discount Tire is telling me it is normal with "performance" tires when it gets colder. They offered to check it out but I would have to leave my car with them over night and I don't trust them.....have not had any good experience with them so far except on pricing.

Did someone mention snow?? Sure glad I got the X.....especially considering I am going to store it this winter!!

Happy birthday Andrew!!

Scott

Scott your storing your G?? Whats with you peeps with AWDs storing your cars and us with RWDs just keep going haha. Something seems backwards here haha.

I didn't notice any flat spotting. They just seem to get noisier, harder and dont grip as well.

What Discount Tire location are you referring to? I've had endless issues with the one in Blaine and Coon Rapids.

Ha!! We bought our daughter a different car so I have her old Saturn SC2 and just decided to try driving it for the winter. I am so fussy about my cars and keeping them clean in the winter is a hassle......where do you bucket wash in the winter. Plus, it will keep the miles low. My guess is a couple days in the sh*t can car and I will be breaking the G out of storage!!
