Thanks all for a great week last week. I got to do 2 more custom jobs. Let's get it rolling again for this week, I'm all caught up and if I don't have kits to make the wife is going to make me do honey-do's.

I thought there would only ever be one pink set. I was wrong. With Choy Boy's kind permission, now someone on the West Coast with a 1st Gen G35 has a set too!

Hey Black Betty i accidentally rounded up the nut to tighten the battery cable trying to get it to securely fit on the battery (which it didn't) because i had both wires in between the clamp.

I had a black and white print out of the instructions so i didn't see clearly how u had gotten both of the wires to fit, but looking at the image now from the computer, now i see how u made it fit with now problem.

I shouldn't have tried to fit both cables in between the clamp but rather have them on the outer side where the nut is......(such a nobie mistake).

Now i need to find a way to get the nut off and get a replacement because the connection to the battery is not secure. I can easily disconnect it without applying much force and i don't want to be driving and it accidentally get disconnected from me hitting a pot hole.

If you've rounded off the nut where you cannot loosen or tighten it, you need to take it off and replace it. If you can get a tight enough grip on it with a pair of needle nose vise grip pliers pliers, try that. If you cant, you'll need to use a damaged bolt/nut remover. I have this set. This a a tool no garage should be without; you don't use it often (hopefully) but when you need it, you really need it. Then you can buy a replacement battery cable bolt/nut at the dealership or at any auto parts or hardware store, should be only a couple bucks at most. PM me your address if you don't have or can't get the damaged bolt/nut removers. I can send you the one you need if you promise to return it immediately (THE SAME DAY!) because I generally don't loan tools to anyone for any reason. If not I will know where you live and I will murder you in your sleep.

Thanks for the offer, i got the rounded down nut off and replaced the bolt and the nut. I also had to file down the side of the one of the wire that connect to the battery in order for it to fit good.

Thanks for the offer again, I need to get me a good set to tools.

Exclamation Now available in REAL carbon fiber!

For those of you who just can't get enough of it in your engine bay, I now have access to REAL carbon fiber sleeving. It is available only on 4 AWG wiring and will of course cost more than the standard TechFlex sleeving. PM me for pricing info.
