Had that happen once. Met up with some MNSC guys that were close by, and it ended up being a bunch of spraycan civics, and the "cool car" was this riced out Del Sol with hood pins (kid had the hood flipped back resting on the windshield). Funny thing was the kid that owned it was some redneck assed kid that really should have been driving an old ford. Cut-off bluejean shorts, and a sleeveless shirt with some extra holes.

Needless to say, I left after about 5 minutes.

 

Make that two packages! Don't open them either, or else....

I'm the new guy

I picked up an '07 g35x sedan, fully loaded, OB 2 weeks ago. I'm Brian from Coon Rapids. I'm actually from the Acura crew that you guys met up with last summer. Came from an '04 TL. I'm 95% sure that I will be at the meet, so you all can hassle me then (unless we get some more newb's before then)

 

So im thinking we should get walkies? I think we have so many cars that people will get stuck behind traffic or stop lights or whatnot. It would just be easier to communicate during the cruise?

 

That or just do conference call. I m pretty sure we all have bluetooth so it should work out as well. Otherwise store the destination in the For worst case scenarios.

 

on that topic... the bluetooth in my car is a little weird. i can't cut the person off that i'm talking too. i have to wait till he's done talking for my to talk so he can hear what i'm saying! i'm think that it is setup this way so the person on the other side doesn't hear all the road noise or any noise in the car while talking any thoughts? does yours do the same thing or did they fix that with the newer models? i heard there are a lot of improvements on car bluetooth since 2007!

 

and i guess that would work. that way there won't be any range issue with conference calls and it would also be cheaper than buying a walkie. but we might have to deal with signal problem depending on where we are and the cell phone providers

 

I can handle the walkies, I'm sure I can get a hella cheap discount at bbuy, we can get a few pair for everyone and just chip in some money between us

 

HAHA! I just got a few more packages too! Nothing remotely exciting, just a couple basic DVD Audio discs. i'm still waiting on the good one to come...it better get here before next week!!!!

 

Don't worry. I will have all my gadgets Camera, Camcorder, Tablet, Mac and Mobile Hotspot Being a dork has its advantages
