might be as soon as this upcoming weekend. Its a 7.5 hr trip down and 7.5 back. Seller accepted my offer but told me I needed to come sooner....but don't really have that option?

I thought the law is 50% in the front and whatever u want in the back

On SUVs and Minivans, yes, but not cars. You can still get a ticket for back tint on a car if it is lower than 50%.
