TP to HFC

I currently have the ark grip with resonated test pipes on my sedan and its a bit too loud for me atm, so if I get some hfcs, will the exhaust get noticeably quieter or would I just be wasting my time and money? Would the better option be to weld in resonators on the midpipe?

Hfc should tame it some. Not night and day but noticable. About the same as adding resonators if not more so. Just dont get z1 hfc as they only have 100 cpsi and are about as loud as test pipes. Go FI or berk or invidia any hfc that is 200 cpsi

I was going to go with the ISR hfcs which are 300 cell so it should be even better right?

Yes definitely. It softens the tone alot. Not necessarily muffles it but quiets and softens. That's definitely a good route to go. Few more days should get an awesome BF sale

I went from Berk HFC to ART pipes because I wanted to make my ARK catback louder and I honestly noticed almost no difference. All it did was make my exhaust smell terrible and I regret it. But upon changing it, I did notice the core in the cat is loose so I've been hesitant to put my HFC back

If you want quieter, I think you'll need resonated HFC??

Ahh... that's not what I wanted to hear lol. I'm not interested in paying close to a stack for the RHFCS just to make the car quieter. So basically I have no options other than going back to a stock exhaust or hacking this one up and welding in resonators.

haha I forgot to mention this earlier but on the other hand, I used to run a muffler delete with HFC and then I changed to some test pipes and it got MUCH louder... like, way too loud. Weird cus I didn't notice anything different with the ARK exhaust.

I was tempted in cutting out the mufflers on the ARK but was too scared lol
