G gave birth to dual cat heatshields
The car has been rattling quite a bit lately. I checked the underbody and found these suckers making the noise. I barely had to pull on them and they came out pretty easily.
Any danger driving without them?

"Gave birth", hahaha. That genuinely made me laugh.
I suppose if you park the car in a field of tall, dead grass, there might be more of a chance for you to start a fire. So... keep it on the pavement?

I've done what you did with rotted heat shields now on 3 separate cars over the last 30 years. Each time it starts with an increasingly bad rattle, and your mind starts spinning with what could be wrong with the car.
Tin snips, FTW.
