So when the car was warmed up they hit the shaft? Let me know how the mounts work out for you as i would be interested in those too if the vibrations aren't bad

From: Framingham Ma,
The vibration is bad but again only when "banking" the car right. Yes when they are "hot" the gap is smaller.I don't drive the car cold some cant tell "if" its cold it touches. I wanted to try to track the car once this summer. Here are a few pics. Remember guys this isn't touching under normal driving. An its hitting the collector part of the header

Are you going to swap to Z1 Urethane motor mounts still? That would be super cool to get your review on those man.

another great thread.. do you summarize these in you build thread?

can you post a link?

edit: also you kept referencing the fit of the Z1 header.. can you elaborate.. could it have been the shop instead of the header?

He does not have Z1 headers he has stillen headers..
the Z1 headers did not fit they would hit the Motor mount when they were trying to put them on..Not a shop issue it is a header issue..some one already did a thread about this..
when they went to put them on the X sedan they had to shave the motor mount to get them to fit

From: Framingham Ma,
So read something on the mustang forum( hated being on that site)

Does anyone know if you loose the two nuts on the firewall where the steering shaft goes through if you could slightly move it? Just thinking if the mounts don't work, I don't seem to have any luck :/..

This is something they have done with the same issue with their headers.

From: Framingham Ma,
So here is the tech's break down, BTW MUCH PROPS to Jason @ Motive!!

This is the email he sent me:
I wanted to take this time to email you the information I was able to get for you today. I will be breaking this down with the math on how close this header is to the steering shaft. Take a look at here Before anything was touched. ( PICS are in order in from the email)
Just 3.175mm in space! ( From the headers to the steering shaft.

After the mounts and a little adjustment on the rear mounting bolt for the exhaust yielded a gain of 1.245mm.... Adding the two blades to the right into our new total of 4.220mm

From: Framingham Ma,
Ok so just picked the car up no review yet only drove 2 blocks to the gym. But I did talk to Sillen finally ! They offer the me a replacement and agreed there is an issue with the drivers side BUT!... Told me they wouldn't pay for it to be replaced I've have to ask the vendor I bought them from? Ok so how's that make sense? Your productive is defective and you've admitted this but will make the vendors fund me the reinstall cost. So basically I have ask Kyle at import parts pro to refund me $$$ for something has no control over? Unless they refund him , his funds also? To me that just doesn't mak sense :/
