Best HFCs for sound?

Hey guys, I got a muffler delete on my sedan and I want a louder exhaust, but I don't want to chop the rest of the exhaust up or buy a aftermarket one that will be quiet. So I think I want to get some HFCs and a new y-pipe. So which HFCs are the best in terms of sound and minimal rasp and what brand of y-pipe to pair with them?

Yeah I'm looking for cheapest ones. I've seen Kinetix or AAM competiton most affordable. Looking to spend around $400 at most. By the way, do all hfcs sound the same in terms of decibels? I want to know if I get hfcs and a new y- pipe if it will sound good with a muffler delete.

The Z1's and the Kinetix's are the same correct? Z1 just sells the Kinetix?

My main priority is not throwing a CEL code.

That's my main priority too. And increasing sound too.

At around $400, I'm seriously considering the Kinetix/Z1.

I believe Z1 includes 02 extenders to ensure you don't throw a code.

Apparently the extenders will fit with a manual transmission, but not an automatic.

But either way, they have a pretty good track record for not throwing a code.

Well then I guess I know what hfcs I'm getting . Do you know whether it would be best to upgrade the y-pipe as well or it won't make a difference?

I've got a topspeed resonated axle-back and the motordyne xyz y pipe with the straight pipe attachment. Pickup is awesome, and the y pipe gives the exhaust a lower, more rich tone. I'm gonna throw on some stillen HFCs tonight, I'll let you know how much louder it is.

Imo, if you don't have emissions to worry about, get the z1 test pipes, res or non, and call it a day....for now.

Look no further similar price and fine workmanship. The O2 bungs are placed so there is never a CEL.

They fit mine with no problems. Livin' the dream.

Talk to Lance from Next Level Performance in the vendor section and he'll take care of everything. Screen name '1cleanG'.

I don't have any rasp, but I'm not running Ark.

Hopefully someone will chime in who has that set-up.
