I don't have emissions in my state and am wondering if anyone can provide any insight as to a good way to go for sound with test pipes and muffler deletes??
This is such an open ended question. What about the sound, are you trying to cut down on rasp, volume, drone, what?
If you look up on Youtube, the people with muffler delete + test pipes. It's loud, very loud.
Yeah I don't want it to be very loud but I like the dB/volume of it without mufflers but I want better flow and be able to get a tune, so it sounds like I would be better off getting some high flow mufflers if i do the cat deletes.

I just installed my stillen HFCs bout 2 weeks ago. That, plus motordyne y pipe, stillen gen II intakes, z1 silicone MAF deletes, base map, and topspeed resonated axle-back. Loud af on cold start, but once warmed up, low cabin drone...it's almost soothing. Low revs, it's low in tone, but above 4-5k she screams...sounds almost like Tomei, but not as loud and crisp.
