Protect exhaust when static and low?

Hey guys, I just recently obtained my Motordyne E370 exhaust setup and my god am I in love. I've never "felt" so fast in my G37 before in my life lol. Anywho, I am on coilovers and currently dropped roughly 2 inches. I was wondering do you guys have any suggestions on how to protect the exhaust from scrapping the ground as much or do we just roll with the punches? I am considering a more functional setup after picking this exhaust up (meatier tires and raising the car up). I also have to other questions which I will list below, thanks everyone!

Question #2: After installing the Motordyne E370 exhaust I now have an check engine light, could that be due to sensors coming off from my stock exhaust (noob question, sorry)?

Question #3: I also currently have the Stillen Gen 2 intakes (came with my car when purchased), after installing this exhaust, would it be ideal to get the car tuned (uprev)? I also don't see many threads regarding the Stillen Gen 2 intakes, does this intake produce any kind of performance for the G?

I do appreciate any and all advice! Thanks everyone!

try resetting your ecu (there is a DIY on how to do this without disconnecting your battery) and it should go away. did you start your car at any point with the exhaust off? i started my car just to see how it'd sound without the muffler and it threw a SES light when i got everything on went away after ecu reset.

you'll be fine without a tune, but you'll probably see some gains with it

Hey viels1de, that's a good thought! I definitely have not reset the ecu, I'll try that ASAP. I did not start the car without the exhaust at any point, I wanted to hold myself in suspense until I had everything on lol

There are only 2 ways to protect your beautiful awesome exhaust: Raise your car or drive only on perfectly level flat roads. Outside of that, expect some damage from time to time unfortunately.

Haha I figured as much, seeing as i don't want to drive around with wheel gap and apparently my taxes don't go to the roads in my area........my hurt will just have to ache every now and then lol

You want to save your exhaust yet be slammed ? Thats is almost physically impossible unless you ditch your current set up and go for bags. I wasnt even slammed and my flex joints are all messed up. So simple answer there is jo way to protect your exhaust if you want to be sitting low.

Haha well now the way you put it makes me sound like I'm contradicting myself, and honestly in reality I probably am. I was more so wondering if there was a way to lessen the damage to the exhaust but I understand what I am asking. I just have to remember to whisper to myself, "sacrifices", whenever my exhaust scrapes lol
