Would Berk HFC fit on my x?
I heard you have to reset ECU when you install new HFC?

 

You'd have to check with the manufacturer. I run Fast Intentions, but I don't remember if I had to order ones specific to AWD. You also have to reset your ECU, but that can be done using the method in the factory service manual.

 

Reset ECU? OR just let it learn on its own.

 

The only ones I know that are diffenenr for the x models are ARK because of the Chmabers. My Z1's and the FI RHFC'S I ahd fit both RWD and AWD

 

Anybody know of a HFC that retains the stock support brace (My FI cats do not)?

 

Thanks for correcting me. It's the Idle Air Volume learning that I recommend after installing HFCs. You're correct, the ECU learns on it's own.

So in comparing Z1 to FI, and assuming (?) comparable quality, identical cell-count, the addition of the hanging bracket... essentially, I paid a $300 premium for a pair of little resonators, plus another $100 for the customized welding work. And I waited two months for the privilege.

That's an interesting way to look at this.
