HFCs with OEM exhaust won't sound that much louder than stock. As for the deeper sound, you will be able to hear it but roll down your windows for that.

I did FI RHFCs first and then FI catback exhaust replacement.

AroundTheG37, you will enjoy it more after the exhaust. Definitely will with the hiss~

But would they get in the way of anything or are there specific ones only for AWD I need to find? Also on another note, I want to install hotchkis sway bars and they have AWD kit for 08-12 AWD I have a 2014...would that really make much of a difference? I'd imagine they have the same exact structure

Yes you need to make sure the hfc will fit. Most will but there are some that won't like ARK and motordyne because of the transfer case. I just picked up some FI RHFC and can't wait to put them in.

Don't quote me on this but those sway bars should fit as long as you buy the AWD ones

oh it will, trust me!

you are exactly right! I thought my ARK catback sounded perfect with the oem cats. The second I added HFCs it was too loud for my liking...but that's just me

I have FI RHFCs + FI Catback with X-Pipe and no resonators and it sounds incredible. The sound has transformed quite a bit now that the exhaust has broken in a bit and the colder weather makes it a bit more enjoyable as well.

That's good to know since I'm looking at maybe switch my system, I have Z1 HFC's and exoticspeed catback, I don't want to change it for anything loud, It's pretty tame now

I'll take a video and hopefully will be able to show you what it sounds like on a cold start. It's really not that loud. I can more-so feel the car start in the morning versus actually hearing it.

Personally, the RHFCs don't add more sound, however they add more of a lower tone.

What FI exhaust do you have, or want to get? I haven't read the beginnings of this thread.

I have an ARK catback

my goal for the RHFC was to give me a deeper sound not really a louder one. so I m pretty happy that you said that

That's a combination I have yet to hear. Rochester and I were discussing this at the meet we had earlier this year and thought that the combination of the ARK plus the FI RHFCs would make for a rather sexy tone.

I think you will be very impressed once the RHFCs are installed.

...plus a tune. For some reason, the exhaust note changes after getting tuned.

Man, this is an old thread. That was weird.

Agreed on that. Albert's G sounded great with the tune he had. I only hope I get that similar exhaust note post-tune.

There was someone local to me that had an ARK exhaust and ended up getting the RHFCs but not sure if he actually installed them. I'm very interested in hearing that combo in person.
