I'm adding z1 test pipes, z1 intake manifold core swap, and tune on Thursday at z1 Motorsports here in Georgia. I have the exhaust listed above with k and n typhoon and i absolutely love the sound. wouldnt change it for anything.....well yes i would id change it for more power but id love to keep the sound to as close as it can be as it is now
Look forward to your review after adding the test pipes, hopefully you won't add a lot of rasp. I too love the TopSpeed sound coupled w/ my Injen SRIs, that's the main reason I haven't done any HFCs, don't want to change that tone and worried that it would get worse.

Im honestly thinking of just doing the z1 hfc instead. i go in tomorrow and i deathly afraid of alot of honda breath......Less amount of rasp the better...But what do yall think? Is it worth the extra $100 for no smells or less rasp? Im in a emission free county so could care less about all that. 2 main things im wanting are highest gains (obviously) and least amount of rasp.

The safest bet would be RHFCs, they should check everything on your list except for price.

So I ended up getting the z1 hfc, z1 intake manifold, and tune. That's paired with my k and n intake and y pipe back exhaust. They ran almost 20 runs and I topped out at 297rwhp on my 2011 g37x sedan. Keep in mind the car still has stock y pipe which I will be replacing but they tried all the y pipes they had at the shop and none of them would clear the transfer case. As far as sound believe it or not it got better. If I could do it all over again I would of got the stillen gen 3 intakes and a y pipe that fits awd before I went and got it tuned. I have before and after videos if someone could kindly let me know how to post them. Also z1 has dyno videos and pictures that they are emailing me today. Very pleased overall. I gained power in every rpm. Rev limiter at 7900 and that is one of the best things really really helps top end just that little bit.

Sounds like a huge WIN WIN, look forward to the before & after clips.
If you have an account on youtube you can post over there and then link the clips to your thread.
Glad it worked out so well

Nice. Sounds louder and more aggressive with the hfc. I've got the top speed exhaust on my car as well.

Thanks for the clips, sounds nice after adding the Z1s, has it amplified the cabin drone in the 1500-1800 range?

I installed my Y pipe on top of the Top Speed exhaust this past week. Definitely noticeable; it gets slightly louder and deeper, with a tiny bit more drone at highway speeds when you are accelerating or going uphill. You can almost feel the rumble when starting up since the Y-pipe is under the front seats, awesome! Bad thing is I got a little exhaust leak on the collector side of the Y-pipe so I gotta check it out and maybe re-torque those bolts or get a new gasket.

Oh, and I hope to have my ART pipes installed by the end of the month. Should be the biggest difference yet!

Which Y pipe did you go with?
Look forward to clips of the ARTs when you get them installed.
