If I remember right, the stock y-pipe uses 1.75" piping - that increases to 2.25" where it meets the mid-pipe. The problem with most aftermarket Y-pipes is that they are @3" where they meet the mid. That sort-of messes up flow (3" -> 2.25"). Exhaust Depot was one of the few (only?) places that made a 2.25" y-pipe - but they are gone.

I've been reading a lot on axle backs and the top speed seems to be a really good option. A lot of members seem to agree TS sounds great alone(axle back).

My buddies and I finished installing my OBX Y pipe today. Damn those bolts were corroded as hell, it took 2 of us pulling/pushing on the wrench with a cheater bar under the car to get them loose.
