This setup plus the Motordyne ART pipes gave me another 25whp easily and sounds AWESOME. No drone, no rasp, not TOO loud but still agressive as ***** under full throttle. I'll have to upload some pix/videos so you guys can see exactly what i did and how it sounds. Hope i explained it all accurately lol!
Video please!

That sort-of messes up flow (3" -> 2.25"). Exhaust Depot was one of the few (only?) places that made a 2.25" y-pipe - but they are gone.
are you saying it doesnt fit ???

I LOVE the way my top speed y pipe back exhaust sounds. Now i'm adding resonated test pipes and tune for more power. I'm wondering if i should get an aftermarket y pipe before the tune to maximize gains
Any body know if it still has not noticeable gains even with a tune? Or would it be worth the gains to buy one?

I'm not sure about gains , but I just installed art pipes on my nismo exhaust with the factory y pipe and it sounds like crap. Sounds like the art pipes are buzzing . my guess is the oem y pipe that sits after the art pipes is causing turbulence / backup since it's tiny compared to the art pipes. Probably going to spring for $150 Megan / manzo y pipe... Ughhh frustrated.

Would you happen to have a link for the top speed exhaust you have? does the exhaust include the Y pipe or is it just the axleback?

I've been reading a lot on axle backs and the top speed seems to be a really good option. A lot of members seem to agree TS sounds great alone(axle back).

My buddies and I finished installing my OBX Y pipe today. Damn those bolts were corroded as hell, it took 2 of us pulling/pushing on the wrench with a cheater bar under the car to get them loose. I also have the Top Speed y-back so I'll update on how the sound changes with just the addition of the Y pipe when I can drive my G tomorrow.

The Top Speed isn't an axleback, it's also got resonated mid pipes, it's one of the very few Y-back setups.

You linked the coupe exhaust. He's talking about the sedan exhaust:

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I'm on the fence about an upgraded Y-pipe as well, since I'm not sure if it will do much for the sound.
I'd like it to be louder / throatier, and hopefully it will be noticeable for you.
