Hey guys, ive had my FI CBE installed on my g37 for a while now and I love how it sounds. I also have a set of test pipes that I'm thinking about installing.

For those who have and or heard the FI exhaust before and after the test pipes were installed; how was the sound? Was it raspier? More drone? Etc. thanks

 

I had the fi exhaust for a year before adding motordyne art pipes. No rasp but there is drone at around 1800-2300rpm. Also very noticeable is the hiss on deacceleration.

So would you say that overall you were pleased with the change in sound? Was it significantly louder?

 

It'll definitely get louder with test pipes. And like presto said, you'll definitely hear more of the decel hiss when you let off the throttle. If you love how it sounds why would you want to add something that could jeopardize it? If it ain't broke don't fix it.

 

I would keep it the way it is if you like it.
