True story. This is what you use and feel every single day when you drive. A peak HP or TQ number on a dyno sheet is only used to confuse people on forums who don't understand what they are looking at. You can tell this by the negative comments on forums about the MD370 intake plenum not making good HP or losing 1 or 2 HP at redline. Those guys never seem to notice all the brand new TQ the car is making under the curve throughout the entire power band except at redline where you only drive for a fraction of a second at a time occasionally while changing gears on a drag strip. I'll take seat-of-the-pants-use-every-day-in-every-gear power over peak HP bragging rights power every day of the week. But that's just me.

^^^

Am gonna act as a psychic and say everyone here in this thread (at least) likes the Motordyne

FWIW ... I have listened to both, and own a Motordyne exhaust and to me personally ... I wouldn't even compare considering the quality on this exhaust. Not dissing the quality on Ark but, as the ol' saying goes "you get what you pay for"

Get this exhaust if you are on the fence. You would not regret it

I hope this Y pipe issue gets fixed soon. Doesn't make sense for me to spend that kind of money and have the headaches you guys are having.

Yeah, i wouldn't hang about getting it, not everyone has the issue, all Motordyne stuff is guaranteed and Tony is a great guy to deal with.

If you get the system, and worst case, you have a problem with the pipe, then Motordyne *will* sort it out for you, no problem.

Ya but I would rather have the issues fixed before purchasing rather than be annoyed by them. I'm OCD like that...

That's a fair point if you don't want to take the chance. Here's a suggestion:

Order it direct from Motordyne. Call them up and explain your concerns and i'm almost certain they'll address them right there and then. No worries, one really nice exhaust heading your way

Yup, I'll give them a call soon. Waiting on a couple of vendors on pricing. Plus holidays are coming up so waiting to see if there will be price drops.

Er, the exhaust fit on some cars, some it didn't, seems there is variation in them?
