Help! Stillen gen 3 humming/buzzing noise

Hi all.

I just installed a stillen gen 3 intake last week on my G37S sedan. The guys that installed it didnt really know what they were doing.
The buzzing/humming sound is mostly apparent at low RPM 1-3K, it sounds like it is coming from the left front side of the engine (maybe intake).
The intake also makes contact with the wheel base and rattles when in reverse.
The thing is I had some intakes on my old car and never had more noise unless I really stepped on the gas.
I dont have any other mods other than a grounding kit, which I've had for a while with no issues.
So, Im wondering are these sounds natural or were my intakes installed incorrectly.

Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

a humming or buzzing i would relate with the metal intake pipe vibrating against something

Thanks for the input guys.

The sound sounds more like a supercharger blowoff valve or something of that sort. Sounds like leaking air.

Ill try and put some cloth between the contact points and see if that helps.

From: Framingham Ma,
The Cloth will probaly move, Didnt the kit come with rubber pads for that area, I know when my dealer installed mine they had rubber pads on the Rad support where the intake pipes went.

No. It didnt come with any rubber pads, do they suppose to come with some?

I added some padding between the pipe and wheel base where it touches, But that humming noise is still there, sounds like a turbo blowoff valve but to a lower extent.
Anyone experience similar issues?

I get some noise between 1700-2200rpm. I don't think it's exactly what you are describing. It's more like a very deep growl/buzz.
