Intakes make engine vibrate more?
I installed intakes(Injen) 3 weeks ago and it seems that my car vibrates more now. I have a 2008S manual 76,000miles, is it the intakes or something else? Do the intakes make your car run harder, so more vibration at the peddle and steering wheel? Also the other day when I turned off car I heard a ticking noise coming from engine, but does not happen all the time.
Thx for your info

The ticking noise from the engine bay is probably the metal Injens cooling off. However, I've never heard about intakes making your engine vibrate. I mean, even, all the day is bring more air, so I don't see how they would affect that. Are you sure everything is installed properly? If so, it might be a different issue.
I have stollen intakes and noticed a noise from the engine bay after installation. It was the metal intake tube vibrating against the strut housing (body of car). Glued a piece of rubber to the body to stop the metal on metal rattle. If yours is vibrating against metal you may feel the vibration thru the gas pedal and hear a noise. Just something to check. Good luck!
