Intake installed, strange engine behavior.

I just got my short ram intakes installed, they sound great! Love the growl and sound difference at high rpms. But strangely, when i hit the gas pretty hard at lower speeds ~15-20 mph, the engine engages, then pauses/bucks for a quick moment, then engages again. Its almost as if the engine dies out completely for a second. This started happening as soon as I installed and took it for a spin. Anyone know what the problem might be?

disconnected the battery for a few hours then it will reset the ECU, everything should be alright i hope and make sure there is no water in the MAF sensors, and make sure everything installed correctly.

+1 for the MAF, pretty much everyone who has similar kind of problems from intakes are from the MAF sensors

check that you didn't install the mafs backwards. the thin side that has the "hole" should be facing the filter. wish i had a pic of the maf to explain it better.
